This Project examines a range of automated techniques to assess compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) through analysis of all relevant data and information pertaining to a company (or a department within a company or another legal entity).

The New York Restaurant PAYCHECK CHECKER

The project is focused on addressing the needs of a specialized segment of the population, tipped restaurant employees, who traditionally are of a demographic with limited access to employee rights protection and who have limited means to understand the complex NYS laws that govern their wages. The app is mutable to help other workers, particularly those that rely on some combination of wages and tips, such as delivery and gig workers, which has become increasingly more relevant and prevalent in the age of “sheltering in place”.

LIFTONLINE Family Law A2J App

Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT) empowers families to advocate for themselves in Family Court and addresses the emotional ramifications of Court involvement. The BLIP students help build an app for LIFT to provide New Yorkers with easy access to tailored information on common family law concerns. This app will be publicly available via the LIFT website (www.liftonline.org). LIFT Family Law App, which has been optimized for mobile.
